Virgin Media confirm YouTube outage in UK
Virgin Media has confirmed problems today, September 5th, with their customers accessing YouTube. It appears there’s an outage not related to YouTube, but more directed at the way Virgin Media customers access the video streaming website through this UK broadband provider.
We’ve included the official statement from Virgin Media below, which came after a reply to a few customers asking what’s wrong with YouTube today.
@Rebostar We're aware of a YouTube issue John. We'll update everyone when we have more information. EW

There’s not been an update to the official Twitter account since the confirmation of a YouTube outage, or at least connection issues if you’re a Virgin Media customer. We expect the problems to be solved shortly, although you can leave updates on our YouTube Down Today page to share status updates with the community.
